February is the month for chocolate lovers. In this class, you will learn 3 easy recipes to satisfy your chocolate craving without using refined sugar or spending a lot of time and effort in the kitchen. This will be a demonstration style class. Recipes and samples will be provided.
The GOAL of this three-week Mindful Eating course is a community exploration in understanding yourself, your relationship with food, and the core concepts that everything you partake in, from the food you eat, to the environment you eat it in, has an effect on your health, and well-being. The INTENTION of this class is to experience being fully present while eating. The HOPE is that by gaining a deeper understanding of your personal behaviors that you will make changes and that Mindful Eating will become an easy, everyday habit for you.
This class was developed by two Certified Nutrition Specialists with experience in teaching Mindful Eating at the Masters level. We will help you to view food and nourishment from a different lens. Some possible OUTCOMES after you complete this course are: increased energy, blood sugar regulation, weight loss and a more peaceful, joyful relationship with food and eating.
